Card of the Day: September 21, 2022

 Card: Two of Wands

Deck: Radiant Rider Waite

Description: A man faces away from the front of the card, and 3/4 of the way to the left. He is Caucasian with short brown hair, rather young in appearance, perhaps late 20s, early thirties as much as I can see from him. He wears a red cap, an orange-ish tunic, and reddish brown boots that come almost up to the knee. Over the tunic, he wears a red over tunic that almost reaches the ground behind him and slightly higher in the front. In his left hand, he holds a sprouting wand vertically that rests upon the half-height wall in front of him. The wall is made of gray-white stone. One the side to the left of the man on the wall, is a picture of two white lilies with unopened blooms mirroring one another diagonally, with two red flowers (maybe roses?) perpendicular to them. On the right of him and attached to the wall by a metal clamp, is the second wand with three budding leaves towards the top of it,. He looks out upon an expanse of water in the distance while holding a globe in his right hand. In the far distance to the right, is a mountain range.

Element: With all the red and orange in this card, it's hard not to see fire in this.

It's so funny how you can get the same card even in the same week and come up with vastly different interpretations. Today I see the man taking something from his home out into the world, perhaps even taking the morals and things he has been taught by his family out into the world and future. Maybe even proselytizing?
